Remove bookmarks in one action on M1 MacBook Pro

How do I remove the large amount of bookmarks accumulated on my M1 MacBook Pro in one action?

for bookmarks that are adjacent to each other, open the safari bookmarks sidebar. then hold your keyboard's "shift" key and click on the bookmark at the bottom of the ones you want to delete. then while still holding the "shift" key, and click the bookmark at the top of the ones you want to delete. then, once they are all highlighted, simply click your keyboard's "delete" key.


for bookmarks that are not adjacent, hold your keyboard's "command" key. then while holding the "command" key, click any bookmarks you want to delete. once they are highlighted, simply click your keyboard's "delete" key.


EDIT: this action CANNOT be undone.
