simple automatic ken burn effect?

Hi There. Is there a way to apply a simple and automatic "ken burns" effect to several photos in my timeline? Or do I have to edit with the keyframe editor? T'would be nice to apply a filer or effect to make it happen with little effort.

Thanks!

That's true. However, Apple offered Burns a sizable amount of money if they were allowed to add a "Ken Burns Effect" to their software. Burns refused to take money and asked Apple to donate a few Macs to his wife's non-profit organization. The effect is officially called the "Ken Burns Effect" in Apple software.

Mr Burns didn't even popularize it, he overused it because he couldn't think of anything else to do in the Civil War series. Yawn.
Your other story requires a verifiable source and valid citation. Not saying your version of this urban legend might not be true, but I've heard other, far less complimentary, versions.
