How do I revert to an older iTunes version to add music from a CD?

I must have for no good reason downloaded the last Apple I-tunes update. Now I can't add music from a disc i usually burn into I-tunes. Any good ideas to get back to a version I can still download music from my RPM disc. Thanks all.

The issue is most likely to be that you have installed the Apple Music, Apple Devices and Apple TV apps. Uninstall them.

In addition, if you have subscribed to the Apple Music subscription service (even as a the free trial), you will need to end that too.

All these things will prevent you from using your own library of music.
