Sign in to Apple ID without restoring Keychain or app data?

How can I sign in to my Apple Account without restoring iCloud Keychain data?

I am trying to protect my privacy by setting up my iPhone without allowing apps to recover old credentials or identify previously used accounts through iCloud.

I have already tried:

  • Erasing the iPhone and setting it up as new, but i need my icloud account setup for all my devices.
  • Signing in and immediately disabling Passwords and Keychain sync
  • Restoring from an iCloud backup
  • Restoring the iPhone from my Mc using Finder

Even after erasing the phone, apps recognize my previous accounts without me entering any login information. I want my passwords and wifi to sync. I don't not want app tracking codes to persist.

Is there a supported way to sign in to my Apple Account while preventing iCloud Keychain, app-specific iCloud data, or other identifying information from being restored? It would be great to delete that from Apple's servers.

iPhone 17 Pro Max, iOS 26
