Looking up information for an iPhone with its serial number

You can look up the coverage status for all devices on your Apple Account and purchase coverage for eligible devices by entering the serial number on this Apple Support page:

Check Your Service and Support Coverage

This should show you the warranty status and the purchase date.

If you want to see more details of your iPhone, open the Settings App -> General -> About
