We have two printers in our home office, an HP2652, and a Canon 6220. Some times, they both work great; other times, one or both of them are offline.
Sometimes I can remove and reinstall them, and that works for a while. Other times, they won't show up on the network, so I can't reinstall them, like now.
I'm running a brand new iMac desktop, Tahoe 26.5.1; my spouse is running a brand new MacBook Air, also Tahoe 26.5.1.
I reboot the computers and the modems, uninstall and reinstall printers when they show up, and everything works fine, until it doesn't.
We also have two networks; one is fiber optic, which I'm connected to via ethernet and also wireless; the Air is wireless only. The other network is a new AT&T Air, which is cell tower based. This happens on either network.
Shutting down and restarting all modems /routers/ mac...
checked for any firmware updates from the developers website...
if in doubt search the developers website or contact their: Support/Help/FAQ/Known issues/compatibility/updates

re: is your our HP DeskJet 2652 is supported on macOS Tahoe?
Legacy HP drivers often don't work due to macOS security changes.
Are you trying the Apple's built-in AirPrint via the system's Printers & Scanners settings. To scan, download the HP App (formerly HP Smart) from the Mac App Store
