Apple Support Community replies not ordered logically?

Recently I posted and there were various replies. My original posting was even upvoted several times.

Whenever I go back to read the various responses, they are completely out of chronological order, or at the very least, very hard to follow/know which response was to whom. (Without looking, carefully, within the text). One time I even replied to myself, by accident (no clue how that happened, because I thought I had selected the correct posting to reply to) before pasting that into a new reply to the person intended. Fairly certain one of those two duplicate postings disappeared - but not the right one.

Why aren’t the posts & replies in order or at least organized logically???

You choose your default thread sort order by going to your user icon in the upper right and choosing Preferences. Change the Default Sorter Order to what works best for you. I suspect yours may be set to Rank and you may find it better to choose either Oldest or Newest for a chronological order. You can also choose the sort order on an individual thread by changing "Sort By:" above the very first post in a thread.
