Green Dot Bank withholding funds from Apple Cash transfer

GREEN DOT BANK….. I transferred money from Apple Cash to

bank since 6/24/26 my bank hasn’t received it but it states it cleared. Now GDB is denying my request for my money even though my bank hasn’t received it yet, isn’t green dot a bank obviously if the money was never received in the bank shouldn’t green that still have that money i’m disputing it again because Greendot needs to give me back my money or Apple wallet Apple Cash you guys need to bank with a different company clearly green dot is keeping peoples money.

Yours is the first report I have seen here where a transfer from Apple Cash has not appeared in your linked account, so I suspect there is something unique in your specific case that has nothing to do with a wide spread belief that GDB is keeping users money.

If you are approaching this as a refund, that is not the correct path to take for a money transfer and explains why you would be denied. You will need to follow up with GDB for the transaction details, possibly the ARN number, where the receiving bank can use that to see the status of the transfer and where it had been applied.

In all cases, you can report a bank to the CFPB, which is a government agency that regulates the banks. On their website, they state you are likely to have a response within 15 days.

Was the transfer an instant transfer or a 1 to 3 ACH transfer?

ARN are credit/debit card refunds only. Not interbank transfers.
