Search for music I want to buy in iTunes by artist

How do I search by artist to buy music in iTunes. If I type an artist in the search bar in the top left, it only gives me things in My Library even though I Tunes Store is highlighted. Help please.

After you perform the search, there should be tabs at the top to determine what results to show. Apple Music, Library or iTunes Store. Make sure iTunes Store is selected from there.

If you don't se the tabs, clic on the < icon at the top until the tabs appear.
