That sag under 25% is pretty normal even on a new genuine battery — voltage just drops faster near empty, and any load hits harder there. If it's fine idle but drains under use, I wouldn't call it defective yet. Only worth a Genius Bar check if it keeps happening consistently below 20%.

If it was not installed by Apple or an authorized service provider and you did not use Apple's official self service repair system, it is not a "new genuine battery".

Then take it back to your Local Technician, as that is not normal. There is no such thing as a 6 month warranty provided by Apple for a full replacement. Apple does provide a 90 warranty after service, but that is only possible when it has been done by them. At this point, let the Technician replace the battery for free until you are satisfied with the repair. If they refer you to Apple and claim there is nothing else they can do, then that will tell you everything you need to know about this personally known local technician.
