Safari not playing or re-playing MLB games. Chrome is.

Also, along with the updates, make sure you are not running a VPN that MLB may be blocking access while you are using Safari, or it may be an AdBlocker or other Extension you have installed on Safari. Check for Extensions at Safari > Settings > Extensions.

The MLB website does recommend you remove any Ad Blockers or Extensions.

And finally remove your cache, cookie and browsing history on Safari.

First thing is you need to install update patches to both systems since they are out of date. It is entirely possible the issue is an outdated version of Safari. Sonoma is now at 14.8.4 and Tahoe is 26.5.2.

Look for a 'support' or 'contact us' link on that page.

Contact them.

It sounds like they made a change that affects your ability to use Safari.
