Preview on Mac: PDF sticky notes disappeared

A sticky note appeared and I could write on it.

Suddenly, sticky notes annotations disappeared from PDF.

I can only find them in the sidebar.

Since it's about important annotations, and the location is especially important, how can I solve this?
