Ive got a new macbook neo.
And my notifications aint coming through from my iPhone16. They are both up to updates. Every time i go in Mac’s settings to toggle allow notifications from iPhone ON, it somehow turns off by itself. No restart or update aint changing the situation. But although little bit lower it says “Iphone” pairing in progress - and just keeps spinning.

The key clue is that "iPhone pairing in progress" keeps spinning, and the "Allow notifications from iPhone" switch immediately turns itself back off.
That usually means the notification pairing between the iPhone and the Mac has not completed successfully, so macOS will not allow the feature to be enabled.
First, make sure both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account and that two-factor authentication is enabled.
Also confirm that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned on for both devices, that both devices are unlocked, and, if you are using a VPN, temporarily disable it to see whether it is interfering with the pairing process.

Next, turn Handoff off and then back on. On the iPhone, go to Settings > General > AirPlay & Continuity > Handoff.
On the Mac, go to System Settings > General > AirDrop & Handoff and do the same. After that, restart both the iPhone and the Mac.
If the Mac shows the iPhone in its notification settings, remove or disconnect it if that option is available. Wait a minute, then open the settings again and allow the devices to pair from the beginning.
If the pairing remains stuck, signing out of the Apple Account on the Mac and then signing back in can often rebuild the Continuity services and resolve the issue. Keep in mind that iCloud may take some time to synchronize again afterward.
