iPhone displays purple streaks during WhatsApp video calls

I've noticed a strange phenomenon. A WhatsApp call between two iPhones, one with an Israeli number (a) and the other with a Florida (USA) number (b), produces a purple-streaked image in video mode. Making the same connection with another Israeli number (c) works correctly. A call from a US number (d) to the Israeli number (a) also works fine. It seems that the two numbers (a and b) are not compatible. Both WhatsApp versions are up to date.

If the issue happens only during WhatsApp calls, try deleting and reinstalling the app. Just make sure you back up your chats first so you don’t lose any data.
