iPhone is locked to owner and I forgot the password

You need to have a copy of the original sales receipt that shows your name as the owner along with the date of sale and serial number of the iPhone.

If approved, Apple will not "unlock" the phone. It will be erased. Hopefully, you have a current backup.

Second Phone? Is this a used iPhone you bought somewhere? More history about the phone in question would help us better understand your issue.

For example, on the screen which says Locked to Owner, there is a hint as to the owners Apple Account. Does it appear to be YOUR Apple Account which would look something like g******@gmail.com? If it isn't indicating it's your account, you have an Activation Locked iPhone which unless you are the original buyer or at least have the original purchase receipt from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller, can't be unlocked by anyone here or at Apple.

Check your web browser autofill entries, the Keychain or Passwords application, and other records, or use Apple's iForgot service, or contact their Account Security team, or if you're the unit's original owner, click here and submit an unlock request.
