Why does iOS block downloading Enhanced Accessibility Voices over 5G?
Has anyone else run into this frustrating issue? I am trying to download the Enhanced Slovenian voice (Tina) for text-to-speech. The file is only 84 MB, and I am on a blazing-fast 5G connection pulling over 300 Mbps.
However, the download just spins endlessly in the Accessibility settings. I finally realized iOS hard-blocks these voice downloads over cellular data and forces you to find a Wi-Fi network to complete it. Why are we still dealing with 3G-era download restrictions on modern devices? Is there any hidden workaround to force iOS to trust my 5G data?
