getting iPod support for Apple Devices and Apple Music on windows without admin rights

hello, my dad gave me his iPod classic 5th gen and i would like to get songs on it with my (windows) school laptop with no admin rights. I have apple devices and iTunes on it. iTunes won't recognize my iPod and i need to install software for Apple devices to get songs on it + i need apple music. Both of the last steps cannot be done due to the admin restrictions. I also cannot update my drives from windows device manager due to all these restrictions. I got some 1oneam and Nine Vicious songs on my iPod with my sister's laptop but she told me she won't give it to me anymore.

Could anyone help me to get this iPod support for Apple devices and the Apple music windows app despise my restrictions? thank you.

Seems you know a whole lot more about your iPod situation than I do! 😀

Wondering whether some of the tips in the article below may be helpful to you:

Sorry I don't really know what's possible on a your laptop without admin rights. I guess the school also has guidelines that need to be followed.

More info: Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support

Troubleshooting: If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support (article no longer says iPod as well - sometimes using a different port or trying a different cable can be helpful.)

All the best :-)
