Unable to Download Any Apps After iOS 26.5.2 Update

Since updating my iPhone 15 to iOS 26.5.2 (23F84), I haven’t been able to download any apps from the App Store. Every time I try to reinstall Instagram or any other app, I get the message: “Unable to Install. Please try again later.”

I have enough storage available, my internet connection is working, and I’ve already restarted my iPhone, but nothing has fixed the issue. I can’t download any app, so I’m basically stuck.

Has anyone experienced the same problem after this iOS update? If you found a solution, I’d really appreciate your help. Thank you!

The ability to complete an app purchase on the App Store requires a functioning payment method.

A payment method is often required to verify your identity, prevent fraud and ensure a streamlined process if you decide to make in-app purchases or purchase paid apps later.

It also helps companies manage age restrictions and regional content availability.

Check your payment method in Settings ➢ [your name] ➢ Payment & Shipping, ensure it’s valid and update if needed. Also, sign out and back into your Apple Account, then try again.

If it still fails, contact Apple Support directly.

There are several things that could be causing this. I suggest you check your payment method first. Please check the Apple Support link below for instructions to do this. It also offers other suggestions.
