Microsoft 365 product key from Apple Store not recognized

I have purchased my Microsoft365 personal together with my Macbook Neo on apple store website. Product key was arrived on July 1st but I haven't tried to redeem it until July 25th. On July 25th when I enter the product key as suggested in the guide book the website says that it does not recognize my Product key. Please find attached the screenshot on my error.

That email you received containing the product key may have had a redemption time limit associated with it which you allowed to expire. Contact the online Apple Store, or the physical Apple Store, depending where you obtained the Microsoft 365 software to pursue this.

AFAIK, first, some purchasing details: Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is a monthly subscription service. The purchased (“perpetual”) version is Office 2024. “Perpetual” in Microsoft licensing usage doesn’t mean you’ll get newer versions of Office (you won’t), or that 2024 will be supported and work forever (it won’t). MIcrosoft 365 does get newer versions, for as long as you subscribe. What you need to do here varies by what you bought.

Here is a free app suite that works quite well with Office documents, pending a resolution of the Microsoft licensing:
