When opening a contact from a birthday in calendar, I get an error message.
Apparently an `addressbook://` link is used resulting in a message:
> The format of this link is not recognized. macOS cannot verify that it is free from malware.
But I am using macOS base apps calendar and contacts. Clicking "Open" works fine however.

I'm not having any issues opening the contact from the Calendar app but I'm using macOS Sequoia 15.7.8. Try to reboot your Mac and update to macOS Tahoe 26.6 if not already done so.
You may also want to try with another contact's birthday to see if the issue occurs.
I am already running on macOS Tahoe 26.6. And even after a restart, I still see the popup on all birthdays. I am not sure, since when this popup appears. Maybe just the last macOS update..
