MacBook Air M3 keyboard & trackpad unresponsive after drain

This issue is most likely a low-level hardware/firmware freeze or a power-state glitch in the trackpad/keyboard controller caused by the complete deep discharge of the battery, though a physical bus or logic board power rail issue is also possible.

Instead of adding on to an existing thread, you should probably start your own separate thread, because your problem has different circumstances. The OP had their battery drain completely and that can cause certain types of hardware or firmware damage, which may or may not be fixable. In your case, you did not drain the battery so the cause and the hardware/firmware needing to be repaired may or may not be different from the OP's.

Hello everyone, I have the exact same issue, did anyone came across to a solution? I have Mac Air 2024 it boots but it's not responding to keyboard nor trackpad. When I connect the external peripherals it loaded the system once and then nothing. Tried first aid on data and mac drive no help. Please help.
