MacBook Air M3 keyboard & trackpad unresponsive after drain
built-in keyboard and trackpad stopped working.
Need help with my MacBook Air M3 (2024). I left it in sleep mode for about 4 days, the battery drained completely, and after charging it back up, both the built-in keyboard and trackpad stopped working. The Mac boots normally, reaches the login screen and Startup Options, the keyboard backlight turns on, charging is normal, but the keyboard is completely unresponsive (Caps Lock LED doesn’t light) and the trackpad is completely dead (no haptic click). The power button still works. Has anyone experienced this? Is it more likely a firmware issue or hardware problem? Any fixes before taking it for repair?
