Unable to add activ gift card to Apple Wallet

Yes it has Visa on it and I have contacted them and there is no issue their end and they definitely can be added to Apple wallet

First, disable any VPN connections and restart your iPhone or tell Siri: "Restart".

You might want to start by checking your region: ▷ Open Settings ➢ General ➢ Language & Region ➢ Region.

Try the following:

• Be sure to activate your card before attempting to add it to Apple Wallet.
• Be sure card has not expired.
• Be sure to verify all information on the card matches exactly.

—Apple Pay Support— * Set up Apple Pay. * Pay Participating Banks.

If none of those work, then try linking the payment method:

Open Settings ➢ your name at the top of the list ➢ Payment & Shipping ➢ Add Payment Method.

Once the payment method has been added, you should have the option to link it to Apple Pay.

Who is the bank that issued the card? Issuing banks vary by region and product type.

Because Activ Visa is a program brand rather than a single bank product, the actual card issuing bank depends on the specific card type and where it’s sold.

Australia (Activ Visa gift cards) are issued by Heritage and People’s Choice Limited (Heritage Bank). U.S. payroll/early wage access cards are issued by Central Bank of Kansas City. U.S. general Activ Visa gift cards are part of Blackhawk Network’s prepaid Visa gift card programs. The specific issuing bank can vary by program and is listed in the cardholder agreement or on the back of the card/package.

What bank issued the gift card? Some banks have changed their policies on gift cards and use of electronic wallets. Many have not bothered to update their websites with revised acceptance policies. Please contact the issuing bank’s customer support team.

Does it have a VISA or Mastercard logo on the card? Private gift cards cannot be added to Apple Wallet. Only credit, debit and prepaid debit cards can be added to Apple Wallet.

Only banks can issue VISA or Mastercard prepaid debit cards. The name of the issuing bank generally appears on the back of the card in small print. There usually is toll free number to contact the bank also.

You’ll need to contact Apple Support directly for help with invalid gift card codes. They can check the balance and verify the code.

If the card is confirmed invalid and was purchased from a retailer, Apple may guide you to provide proof of purchase so they can investigate or advise you on refund options.

The retailer generally won’t handle refunds for Apple’s digital codes once sold.
