How do I fix FaceTime not working on my iPhone?

You might want to check that you have the latest version of iOS26 installed so you have the newest security updates, bug-fixes etc.

You can check in Settings > General > Software updates.

If an update is available: It is always wise to back-up iPhone before updating the iOS.

Else if iPhone's software is already up-to-date:


If you have VPN installed: Unless it is one provided by an employer, try turning it off (or better yet uninstall it!) in case it is causing interference.

Also: Restarting your device can often restore order if something is not working as expected: (deletes temporary files, re-establishes connections, and may update any recent setting or account changes etc. If needed See how to restart iPhone.
