In Final Cut Pro 12.3, MP4 export with “Include chapter markers” preserves chapter names only when “Allow Export Segmentation” is turned off. With segmentation on, chapter titles are lost or unreadable in QuickTime and VLC. Do you experience the same thing? Is this a bug? Or will segmentation always prevent this? Thanks!
Looks like this was first reported to the fcp.cafe bug list back in February 2025, which puts it in version 11.x timeframe. https://github.com/CommandPost/FCPCafe/issues/446
