Some keys not working on new Magic Keyboard for iMac
Some keys are not working with my new Magic keyboard for my 27” intel iMac desktop (for 3 days now)
Which keys aren’t working? If it’s Touch ID, that feature requires a Mac with Apple silicon and won’t work with a 27-inch Intel iMac.
For other keys, connect the keyboard directly to the iMac with its charging cable, leave it connected for at least 10 seconds, and test again. I’d also install macOS 26.6, then check System Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard and make sure Slow Keys is off.
If the same keys still don’t respond while connected by cable, I’d exchange the new keyboard.
