Sharing play list in Apple Music to iPod? Everything I've read does not work.

How do I import a play list from my Apple Mac Mini Music app to my iPod? There is no sync option like everything says there should be. And the iPod does not show up in the Music app like everything says it should. And I can't drag it like everything say I should be able to do. Itunes was so easy. And no. I don't want to add it to my phone or window device. It's should be easy. From Apple Mac Mini to an Apple iPod.

The Sync option would be found in the Finder, not the Music app since macOS 10.15 Catalina.

There should be a bar of media types above the version number you can click, one of them being Music. Are you to seeing that? Can you click on Music there?

General | Music | Movies | TV Shows etc...

No, you don't need a subscription to sync content directly unless what you want to sync is music from the Apple Music subscription service.

For tracks, albums and playlists stored directly in the Music app that were obtained form purchases, CDs or other sources, the subscription is not required.

Can you post a screen shot of Finder so we may see what you see? Redact any personal info.

Phil. None of that shows up. All that shows up is The software version. A message under that saying "my iPod is up to date". Under that "check for update" or "restore iPod" No option to sync. All I can to is edit my name above the serial number. Nothing else. I've opened the iPod. I've copied the music I want. I pasted them into the iPod window. It shows them all being downloaded. When finished. I disconnect my iPod. No songs. I've been working at this for 3 hours. Doing searches on Google. Trying all the options people have given me and nothing matches up.

Let me ask this. I never subscribed to the monthly subscription. Is that the reason this isn't working? I am just using the app that came with my new mini.
