Staff Styles in Logic Pro 12.3 Score Editor can't be changed

In Logic 12.2 and earlier, it was possible to change staff styles in the score editor. It no longer works for me in 12.3.

When I create a studio piano MIDI track, play something, and want to switch the staff style from piano to, let's say, treble clef, it won't change. It lets me select it from the drop-down menu, but it won't change.

To be clear, I have the score editor active (front window), and I am selecting "styles" in the score editor's local menu.

I have used this feature for 20 years, and it was never a problem until 12.3 was released.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Your reply does not provide a solution, offer a workaround, or clarify whether you are experiencing the same issue. I posted here to determine whether this is a reproducible Logic Pro bug, not simply to be redirected to Apple’s feedback page.

How are we to know you've already given feedback to Apple if you don't say so in your initial question?

YoYoBen's reply might provide a solution. Many people come here for help without reporting bugs to Apple and Apple will only fix bugs that they know about and for which they get lots of reports, from which they can infer that it's a general problem and and not one specific to a certain setup. If this is a bug then no one here can fix it and the only way it will get fixed is via Apple's feedback page.

I am experiencing exactly the same Problem.

I hope they will fix it soon, it makes working with scores a lot more cumbersome.

It also does not just not change, but reset it to (I guess the default) Piano or Auto Style.

So even if the region has another style selected (in projects, that were created before Logic was updated to 12.3) and I know try to change the style, it will not reset to the last selected one, but to "Piano" or "Auto"

If someone posts on this forum, they want solutions and to know if others have experienced the same problem. Telling me to give feedback to Apple is like asking someone, "Hey, did you see my glasses?" and the response is, "Here is the address to Lost & Found."

Besides that, Apple monitors this forum and is aware of the issues discussed here. So even if I didn’t provide feedback directly to them, they would know about it through this forum.

I would appreciate it if you guys could stop discussing Apple Feedback and offer a solution instead, if you know of any.

Peace!
