iPhone 17e Bluetooth is not recognizing devices
My new iPhone 17e does not recognize any of my Bluetooth devices. My previous iPhone, 8SE, still lists all my devices, so they're not the problem.

Simply said, Bluetooth pairings do not carry over when you get a new iPhone. If you didn't put the Bluetooth devices you had paired to your previous device in pairing mode, your new iPhone won't see them. You need to know how to put your devices in pairing mode, then open Settings > Bluetooth, where they will then appear and you tap them to connect to your new iPhone.

What device?
Each device has a different way to enter pairing mode that will need to be done after initial setup. Your old phone still lists those devices because they were previously paired to that phone. Most bluetooth devices enter pairing mode automatically after the first setup of that device where it can be located by any device to make setup simple, after that you have to manually enter pairing mode on that device for it to show on another phone.
We can help, but would need to know the specific model number of the bluetooth device you are looking to pair. The information will be in the instructions for that device and the assistance will involve looking up that user manual online. The same is true for the other bluetooth devices you are looking to pair to a new iPhone.
Okay, thanks, I'll start looking for those numbers.
