How do I install iPadOS 27 on my iPad?

Right now, nothing to do. When 27 is actually released this fall, make sure you have a recent back up, and download and install. Nothing special to do really. I personally wouldn’t try to upgrade the day of release. Servers will be much less busy a few days to a week later.

The public beta should be available soon. If you absolutely have to have iOS 27 I highly recommend waiting for it, or else waiting until September when the general release is available. I wouldn’t touch the developer beta with a ten foot pole.

It's a ONE page thread. Read it. There are links which explain your options. Specifically, read the link entitled "To Beta or Not to Beta." But really read it before you consider installing beta software on your device.

Apple strongly recommends that you only install beta software on a spare iPad......not your regular device.
