I want to purchase the standalone Logic Pro software in the App Store. I noticed the version in the creator suite is not compatible with my current 2019 Macbook pro, but it can run Logic Pro 1 1 or older.
Is the stand alone app in the store the 11 version? Will it work on my Macbook. Asking to make sure before I buy.

Is your MBP 16-inch an Intel-based model from 2019?
The current version of Logic Pro 12 requires a Mac with Apple Silicon.

It's version 12 and requires Sequoia to run on your computer. FYI, the App Store won't allow purchases on incompatible hardware.

No. You cannot now purchase any version of Logic Pro older than the current release.
You may download an older compatible version of Logic Pro only if you had previously purchased an earlier version of Logic Pro from the App Store.
