Audio cuts off at end of DJI Osmo Pocket video clips

Audio cutting off at the end of each clip - DJI Osmo Pocket Footage

I am having issues with clips coming from DJI Pocket camera (both 3 and 4p) where the last couple of frames on each clip seem to remove the audio. I have checked the files against different frame rates to see if that might help but it didnt seem to make a difference. also I have checked the raw file and the audio plays all the way through. I checked it in another editor (Da Vinci) and the file also shows the audio all the way through. This issue only seems to happen on these type of clips not on iPhone or Sony clips. Does anyone else have this issue or know how to prevent it? Ive tried importing different ways but no success.

What sample rate is the audio of the original clip, and what sample rate is the Project timeline? Those seriously need to match.

Hum, one last question: do both project and clips use same setting for timecode: drop frame (df) or non-drop frame (ndf).

bonus question: is the audio drop appears in QuickTime Player?

Yes, they sync perfectly in the timeline. It also shows the issue in the browser.

I have run the clip through Claude and asked it to check the raw file and it confirms that the audio is still in the raw clip all the way to the end of the clip (including the last few frames) when I then export this from the timeline it confirms that the last frame drops the audio completely as it shows on the timeline. I also verified this by checking it in Da Vinci to see if it was a FCP problem or a file/DJI problem.

Do the audio and video play in sync in timeline?

Is the problem visible in the browser?

Yes, both the clip and the project are 48KHz

I also checked the file in different frame rate timelines and all coming out the same

Ive tried both drop frame and non drop frame and the issue appears on both. the audio drop doesnt appear on quick player (that I can tell with it only being the last frame/couple of frames

Are you missing any audio content at all, does the audio cut out prematurely?

Or, does the audio end like it should, but the video goes on for a few extra frames?
