Apple Watch 7 Series microphone not working

This is a user-to-user community, so Apple technicians generally won’t provide direct support here.

Since you’ve already tried the usual troubleshooting, open Voice Memos on the watch, record a few seconds, and play it back. If it’s silent and Siri and calls also can’t hear you, remove any case and check the microphone opening for debris or moisture. Don’t use compressed air or insert anything into the opening.

If it still doesn’t work, I’d contact Apple Support and have the watch inspected. They can troubleshoot it and arrange service if needed.

My Apple Watch 8 has the same problem. At 1st I thought it was just the Walkie-Talkie but soon realized it's the microphone. I can Walkie-Talkie but the other person cannot hear me. I also can't be heard on Cellular phone calls, as well as the Noise app not registering loud sounds, and SIRI doesn't answer me.

As an aside the Mickie mouse doesn't speak to me anymore either!
