hmmm...I do not ever remember getting some audible alert about optimized charging(?)

Might look here and see if it gets lumped in if you turn it on:

Settings>Notifications>Scheduled Summaries

"Scheduled Summaries on an iPhone let you group non-urgent app alerts and deliver them as a single bundled digest at specific times you choose, such as morning, lunch, and evening. This stops low-priority apps from constantly interrupting you"

It’s just the audible notification stating the the battery has reached 80% (optimized charge to save the battery, I guess), and it usually happens 2-3 hours after plugging in the phone, which is usually the middle of the night.

One option is to just turn off the setting to optimize battery charging, but the the battery life is shortened. Time to buy an alarm clock.

You don't want to turn off Optimized Battery Charging.

Try this:

Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb - I have Intelligent Breakthrough & Silencing OFF. In Options - Silence Notifications is set to Always.

I never am disturbed by notifications when I sleep. But then my iPhone is across the room from my bed and I do tend to sleep deeply.

You must think you're speaking to Apple here? You're not. This is a user to user only forum, which Apple neither participates, nor reads for user feedback. Yelling at only other users to FIX anything, won't get you anything.

What Optimized Battery Notification are you referring to? Please post a screenshot of the notification, so we can see what it is you're referring to.

I have never seen the optimised battery notification you mention. I have the charge limit set to 80% and Optimised Battery Charging is enabled. Can you post a screenshot?

The Optimised Battery Charging option according to the words on my iPhone is "When the charge limit is set to 100%, allow iPhone to wait to finish charging past 80% until the time you need to use it." One of your comments suggests you have set the charge limit to 80% and the words say Optimised Battery Charging is for when the charge limit is set to 100% so I wonder why you see a notification. I also now wonder why I have Optimised Battery Charging enabled when I use a charge limit of 80%, perhaps it is for the occasions when I set it to 100% on nights when I am going out the next day for a prolonged period, when I also use low power mode.

Hi, this isn’t by chance a third party battery app you have installed is it? I have third party apps that make a sound, but Apple Battery settings are silent.
