Are you referring to iTunes on a Mac or a PC?

Unless you have a very old Mac, you not use iTunes to reset the iPhone. You would use the Finder to reset the iPhone. To confirm, what operating system is installed on your Mac?

If you have a PC, you would want to use Apple Devices to reset the iPhone, unless you have a much older PC.

Post back to tell us what operating system your PC is using.

Once we know whether you have a Mac or PC and what operating system that the computer is running, we'll be able to go to the next steps.
