Logic Pro beat mapping issue on MacBook Pro (macOS 26.6

After updating my MacBook Pro M5 Max to MacOS 26.6 Logic Pro 12.3 beat mapping will not allow me to select transients to assign to a beat.

I also have a Mac mini with a M4 Pro using 25.5.1 and Logic Pro 12.3 and it works as expected.

Are there currently any work arounds to resolve this issue I am having on the MacBook Pro?
