iPhone 17 Pro: Face ID issue with banking apps
I have just upgraded from an 11 to a 17 Pro. All is well apart from 2 banking apps which continue sully say my Face ID has changed since last use. I have reinstalled them to no avail. Any ideas?

Thanks, useful information but I have already restarted, deleted and reinstalled the apps and registered multiple times. It keeps saying ‘Face ID has changed since since last use’ but it has not and face if works perfectly with all other apps.
You had to create a new Face ID when you got the new iPhone. So I'd delete the banking app(s), which wipes their data, then reinstall them and set them up again with biometrics.

Have you tried to restart the iPhone to see if the issues persist?
Otherwise you might need to re-activate the banking apps, this is sometimes needed after migration to a new iPhone due to safety reasons
Not sure what country you’re in, but bank apps generally will not use new Face ID details until you log into the app using your login name and passcode. Once you’re in the app, enable use Face ID and the new details will be used. This is a security requirement imposed by the banks in order to safeguard your account and identity.
Even when you're completely activating the banking app a new? In the country I am in, you'll need to activate that with your debit card and ID card before you can use the banking app again on a new iPhone

Might the banking apps be storing your Face ID? That’s what it sounds like. And your Face ID may well look different since the bank last got it from your iPhone 11.
Try erasing the bank apps’ knowledge of your Face appearance and set it up again in each of the two banking apps.
UPDATE: lobsterghost1 posted at the same time I wrote this. The method lobsterghost1 described will accomplish what you need to do.

Thanks, everyone, but I’ve done all of those.
What was the specific result (what did you see) when you tried and failed to log in to each of the two accounts using your username and password?

Thanks, everyone, but I’ve done all of those. I’ll try talking to Apple support as the banks have just sent me round in circles.
I didn’t fail to login - using my username etc I logged in with no issue - set Face ID on and restarted- only for the exact same message to reappear’ Face ID has changed…’
What bank app is it?
