Mastercard Giftcard not verified for AppStore purchase

My Mastercard gift card won’t be verified and I have no idea what to do😭😭all the info on the card is right, snd I’m pretty sure my billing information is up to date so like..what now?

It is my understanding that you can't use a Visa or Mastercard gift card as a payment method in your Apple Account. However, if you register the gift card with VISA or Mastercard and make it a reloadable debit card, you should be able to enter that card as a payment method, as you can with any bank's debit card.

The link below explains which payment methods are accepted for your Apple account. Vis and Mastercard gift cards are not listed. It's best to go to the official source than to guess.
