Magic Keyboard suddenly stopped working

I am using iPad Pro m4 13inch. I was using it to watch a series while the Magic Keyboard was connected and it was working fine, I closed the iPad and left it a few minutes later the keyboard stopped working, the keys the touch pad noting is working I am also not able to charge my iPad with the keyboard what is the issue and why doesn’t apple respond to this
