Pro Display XDR 'Rotate' option missing in System Settings

Problem : I bought an XDR display with Vesa mount in order to rotate it 90 degrees and use it in Portrait mode. But the Software in the XDR no longer offers the 'Rotate' option in SystemSettings >Display that it used to when driven by the same recent Mac M4P mini with Tahoe 26 and my old LG Ultrafine screen. 'Rotate' has disappeared. It seems the software is driven by the Screen, not by the Mini.

Surely Apple would not have written Rotation out of the XDR's software : BUT Where have they hidden it? Apple's own User Guide hasn't been updated to say.

Thankyou, someone - ChrisM

To unhide the missing rotation control in macOS for a VESA-mounted Apple Pro Display XDR, open System Settings > Displays, select your XDR monitor, press and hold the Option (⌥) key on your keyboard, and click on the Rotation pop-up menu that appears.
