Mail app crashes and Notes app is corrupt

Mail quit unexpectedly. Tried reopening multiple times, keeps crashing. Rebooted computer. Didn’t help. Have been using this update for a while. Can I just delete the program and install a new copy? Appreciate any solutions. Am running Tahoe 26.6.

Also have a corrupt Notes program ( It says it can't be opened now because it can't access its data) that I would like to reinstall but can't find it in the App store.
