Create an event log by using Siri and best app

How do I create an event log by using Siri? I have attempted to use Notes, or the Calendar. The purpose is to create a list of events, similar to a log, and then apply a tag to that event, thus would allow me to search by tag or by event at a later date?

I set up a list in Notes titled Event Log.

Later when I attempt to ask Siri: " Hey Siri, log a medical event on March 22 annual checkup." Does not work and Siri says he can't do that. Another time Siri said he can't log a past event. I tried just "log an event of a medical checkup.

What am I misunderstanding, or doing wrong? or suggest a set up for this. Will this even work? I am attempting to use this I guess as a mini database search and might not be an option. Thanks.
