MacBook not seen by iPhone 17 Pro for AirDrop

The MacBook name does not appear on the iPhone 17 Pro AirDrop when both devices use the same Apple ID account.

I have an iPhone 17e and iPhone 17 Pro. Both phones are on different Apple ID accounts. I have a MacBook Pro 14 that uses the same Apple ID account as the iPhone 17 Pro. When I attempt to AirDrop a photo from the iPhone 17 Pro to my MacBook, the MacBook name does not appear. When I attempt to AirDrop a photo from the iPhone 17e, to my MacBook, the MacBook name appears.

The MacBook is being recognized in AirDrop on the iPhone 17e, but not on the iPhone 17 Pro. The iPhone 17 Pro and MacBook use the same Apple ID.

How do I get the MacBook to appear in AirDrop on the iPhone 17 Pro?

try changing the settings on the Mac and compare your results

try changing Settings to Everyone and compare your results

>System Settings>Airdrop

Thanks for your reply. I've changed the visibility to "Everyone" and the MacBook still doesn't appear on my iPhone 17 Pro. The MacBook name appears in AirDrop for other Apple devices that do not share the same Apple ID with the MacBook, but not on devices that share the same Apple ID.

I've even logged out of the Apple account on the MacBook and logged back in. Still no luck.
