How to resolve 'Something went wrong' error after entering D-U-N-S number during Apple Developer Program enrollment?

I'm trying to enroll in the Apple Developer Program as an Organization.

After entering my D-U-N-S number, the enrollment process fails with a generic "Something went wrong" error. I've already contacted Apple Developer Support, but it's been almost 2 months with no resolution, and my case is still pending.

Has anyone else faced this issue? If so:

  • What was the root cause?
  • How was it resolved?
  • Did Apple have to fix something on their end?

Any suggestions or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

A "Something went wrong" error after entering a D-U-N-S number usually stems from a data mismatch or synchronization delay between Apple and Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), or regional mismatches on your Apple Account. To resolve it, verify that your exact legal business name and address match your D&B profile, wait up to 14 days if your D-U-N-S details were recently updated, disable any active VPNs, and contact Apple Developer Support if the system state remains blocked
