FaceTime says 'service not allowed

facetime is not working and it was working before but now it sends me a message that says service not allowed facetime cant be provided in your country or region

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 26

Select the continent/country you are in and the cellular carrier you are using there:--> Wireless carrier support and features for iPhone in the United States and Canada - Apple Support . If the issue persists, contact your carrier and ask them.

The message means exactly what it says. Some countries/regions have banned the use of FaceTime. It may have worked in a different location but is now blocked by a government. Where are you located?
