google AI submits—

"On a Mac, file transfer error code -51 means a reference number is invalid (rfNumErr), usually caused by a file system mismatch, bad network share permissions, or third-party security software blocking the write action."

How is that drive formatted, you do not say...(?)

If NTFS— you may need to update you third party supporting software for r/w p̶r̶i̶v̶i̶l̶e̶g̶e̶s̶ compatibility.

if there is Samsung proprietary software involved check their support for some update.

Always advise on any new drive to remove proprietary software that is often time included, macOS updates can break the compatibility.
