How to switch iCloud payment method from Barclaycard to Apple Pay with HSBC credit card?

i want to delete the barclaycard associated with payment terms for my icloud account - and pay future subscriptions via Apple Pay with my HsBc credit card…. will this happen automatically if I delete the Barclaycard or do I have to do something else???
