Facetime Video slow to connect

Been having some trouble with picking up FaceTime Calls from my M1 MacBook Air (Tahoe 26.5.2). This has been going on for the past 2 years or so, whereby, whenever I try to call someone, or pickup a FaceTime call on my Mac, I get a loading pinwheel for about a minute. Audio connects right away, but the video takes about a minute or so to connect. Works fine on my other devices. The person on the other side of the call can also see me fine during this time. Memory and CPU usage do not spike during this time (as per Activity Monitor)

There are also some occasions where I try to call someone and it rings on my end, but not on theirs, but this is not really as much of a priority as the other one, as this happens maybe like 5% of the time
