Gift card

Unfortunately, an Apple Gift Card isn’t a general-purpose gift card. It can only be used for purchases and services from Apple.

Apple says its gift cards can’t normally be returned for cash, exchanged, or used to buy another gift card, except where required by law. Check your Apple Account balance - Apple Support

If you haven’t redeemed it yet, I’d contact the store where you bought it and ask whether they can help. If it has already been redeemed to your Apple Account, the balance generally can’t be transferred to another gift card or another person.

Since you have an iPhone, you could still use the balance for things such as apps, iCloud+, Apple Music, or other eligible Apple purchases if any of those are useful to you.

Apple gift cards can’t be refunded or exchanged for cash, but you can use them for App Store, iTunes or Apple subscriptions.
