Final Cup Pro multi-cam phones won’t connect.

Up until recently i could connect my band mate’s cameras to Final CutPro on my iPad Pro 13-inch (M4). Now when I try to connect them, it asks for the code, but after I enter the code and try to connect to and add the cameras to the multi-cam session, they just spin and never connect. The only phone I can connect is my own phone. Some of the tips that I have found say that the only way to connect is if they are on the camera apple account. That’s not feasible on my friends phones, and this is something that used to work for us. I’m running FCP v3.3 on iOS 26.6. The phones are all iOS 26.6 running FC Camera v2.3

The infinite spinning after entering the pairing code is usually caused by local network isolation, Bluetooth/mDNS handoff blocks, or stale Bonjour/pairing handshakes between devices on different Apple Accounts. They do not need to be on the same Apple Account to pair via a code, but local discovery protocols must be completely unobstructed.

Quick Fixes for Connection Freezes

Disable Personal Hotspot: Ensure no device involved has a Personal Hotspot active, as Apple restricts multi-peer Bonjour routing over active cellular sharing paths.
Toggle Wireless Radios: Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both the iPad Pro and the friend's iPhone, wait 5 seconds, and turn them back on to refresh local multicast discovery.
Reset Network Handshake: Force quit Final Cut Pro on the iPad and Final Cut Camera on the iPhone, then clear out old device pairings if visible.
Verify Local Network Permissions: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network on both the iPad and the iPhones, and make sure Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Camera have permission to find devices on the local network.
