Hi,

To fix missing iPhone notifications on your Mac, make sure both devices use the same your Apple Account, have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on, and are near each other. Then, enable notification forwarding in your Mac's System Settings > Notifications by toggling on "Allow notifications from your iPhone".

I've never tried to synchronize notifications from an iPhone to a Mac. I wasn't aware that it was even an option – until I searched for and found this: Manage iPhone notifications and Live Activities on Mac - Apple Support .

I see that there's discussion in another recent thread: iPhone notifications not on MacBook; sett… - Apple Community .

As for being able to interact with SMS/MMS messages (a cell phone thing), there are a couple of ways to do that:

  • Use Messages in iCloud
  • Turn on Text Message Forwarding on the iPhone – this seems to forward new messages, but not to synchronize ones that the iPhone sent or received before you turned the feature on.

See: Forward text messages from your iPhone to other devices - Apple Support .
